St. Petersburg gives you plenty of reasons to never leave the beach. Great food, a walkable downtown, sunsets you can watch from a bar stool if that's the day you're after.
But there's another side of this coast, and you only get to it by boat.
With a Grain of Salt puts you on that side, with a private trip built around wherever you want to go that day. Sandbars, islands, dolphins, sunsets, it's all on the table.
Tell us what sounds like a good day and we'll build the trip around it.

What's a Day on the Water Near St. Petersburg Like?
Most trips start calm, flat water sliding past the bow as we ease out from the dock.
Then the hydrofoil kicks in, and you get a little more wind in your hair than you were expecting. It's a fun surprise the first time it happens.
From there it's a sandbar with nobody else on it, a manatee drifting by the boat, or a dolphin working the surface a few feet off the beam.
Some days we hop two islands in an afternoon. Some days we sit in one spot for three hours because nobody wants to leave.
Either way, you're getting home with sand still stuck to your feet and a phone full of pictures you'll actually want to look at again.
Why Book Directly With Us
We believe an unforgettable day on the water is more than checking something off a list.
It's about having fun, bonding with friends and family, and seeing Tampa Bay the way most visitors never do.
It's finding a local captain who becomes your go-to every time you're back in town, not a booking site you use once and forget.
We know that if we do our job right, you'll never need to search again.
That's what we're all about.

Our Boats

Our 2022 Viaggio Lago 18R is fitted with a Yamaha 90HP four-stroke engine and a hydrofoil upgrade, making us the only hydrofoil-equipped pontoon offering tours in the area.
That means a smoother ride, better fuel economy, and more time enjoying the water instead of getting there.
